Gaetana, 89

Gaetana migrated to Australia when she was young, a difficult move that meant leaving her family behind, something she still reflects on today. She spent many happy evenings at the Trieste Social Club in Essendon, where her husband Alberto often took her for dinner. Over the years, she worked as a cleaner, first washing dishes in restaurants and later working alongside her mother. She enjoys watching Channel 9 programs, concerts by Andrea Bocelli and André Rieu, as well as Mr. Bean and old cowboy shows. She follows football and proudly barracks for Carlton, and she loves watching the Olympics.
